6.12Moving Violation Causing Injury to Person Operating Farm Equipment
“A person who commits a moving violation that has criminal penalties and as a result causes injury to a person operating an implement of husbandry on a highway in compliance with [the MVC] is guilty of a misdemeanor[.]” MCL 257.601c(1).
MCL 257.601c(1) provides for:
•imprisonment for not more than one year; or
•fine of not more than $1,000; or
•both.
